BF Partners is an Innovative Medium Enterprise and is part of the specific section of the Company Register (art.4 DL 3/2015), with which the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) censuses companies that are characterized by their innovative character in terms of internal skills, processes, or products.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
The level of skills acquired by BF Partners on technological and innovation issues has also provided the requirements to become part of SIIT, the Ligurian Technological District on integrated intelligent systems.
By joining the poles, BF Partners participates in European tenders for the realization of complex industrial research and experimental development projects and in the application of technological solutions of the “Smart Specialization Strategy” of the Liguria Region.
- T.R.A.N.S.I.T. (Tecnologie e Ricerca Network Sicurezza ed Intermodalità nei Trasporti). It operates in the sector of automation, supervision and safety in transport and logistics for technological, organizational and managerial aspects.
- S.O.S.I.A. It operates in the sector of environmental risk management and territorial control, cybersecurity and innovative ICT systems for Smart Factory and automation.
- S.O.S.I.A. It works to establish a model of development and competitiveness for industrial, production and research systems in the field of Life Sciences
In 2023, with the approval of the Ministry of Economic Development, BF Partners passed the selection procedure and was admitted as a new member of the Competence Center START4.0.
START4.0 is one of the 8 competence centers recognized and co-financed by the Ministry of Economic Development under the national Industry 4.0 plan, specialized in the security of critical national infrastructures.

SMART STOP, in which we created a platform for monitoring smart stops on the public mobility network through video analytics techniques using artificial intelligence.

DSH 2030, DIGITAL SUSTAINABLE HARBOUR, in which created the digital twin of the Old Port of Genoa to monitor, manage and enhance the port areas with a view to sustainability.
